A Parametric Hybrid Model used forMultidimensional Object

چکیده
In this paper, we present a parametric hybrid model used in the framework of multidimensional object representation , for applications to both object visualization and objet-based data compression. Our model is deened as a set of hybrid ellipsoids suitable for both globally and locally deforming the reconstructed shape. Its new parameterization, as compared to classical techniques, allows us to preserve its analytical representation during the tting process. It is t-ted to the object contours by means of a genetic algorithm minimizing a mean-square error criterion. Several criteria are proposed and discussed according to the stability of the optimization process, as well as the ability to eeciently initialize the model parameters. Finally, tting results are presented for 2D and 3D data and diierent applications are proposed.

Thermoeconomic Analysis and Parametric Study of Geothermal and Biomass Source ORC, Dual Fluid and Hybrid Power Plants
In this paper, we have continued doing a research project which had done previously. Three types of power plants include an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), a Dual-Fluid-Hybrid (DFH) and a single-fluid hybrid-fueled (HYB); were re-modeled. After model validation, thermodynamic studies and exergy analysis were extended for the defined cases using the first and second laws of thermodynamics. Then the...
متن کاملHybrid method for full identification of buried objects and surrounding media
This study describes a hybrid technique for identification of buried objects. The objects shape and electromagnetic profile are reconstructed from evaluations of electrical permittivity and conductivity. The method suggests a combination of linear sampling and optimization. Linear sampling method (LSM) is used to recover shape and metaheuristic optimizations essential to reconstruct the inside...
متن کاملHybrid geometry representations with applications in medical imaging and model repair
A key issue in computer aided design is the accurate and efficient mathematical representation of static and dynamic geometric models. Unfortunately there is no single design that fits all needs equally well. While e.g., parametric representations allow for fast enumeration of points on the model and thus for fast rendering, volumetric representations better support inside/outside queries and B...
متن کاملHybrid, experimental and computational, investigation of mechanical components
Computational and experimental methodologies have unique features for the analysis and solution of a wide variety of engineering problems. Computations provide results that depend on selection of input parameters such as geometry, material constants, and boundary conditions which, for correct modeling purposes, have to be appropriately chosen. In addition, it is relatively easy to modify the in...
